Now you have the opportunity as an individual or organization to help develop the Aramaic language for the future.

On this website we open a forum, where you can come up with suggestions to create new words in different categories. The received proposals are processed by the academys board and when a decision has been made, the new words will be published on the web and collected in lists for the Aramaic language. Every year the academy will collect new words and publish a dictionary (lexicon) of the Aramaic language.

What do we want your help with? Yes, we want suggestions for new words within e.g. in the following categories:

- Vehicles and machinery
- Medicine
- Houses and buildings
- Electricity, ventilation and drainage
- Computer (IT) and technology
- Nature-oriented subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, nature

Or if there is something else that you have seen or heard and does not have a name in Aramaic, then come up with suggestions for what it should be called.
Your suggestions for new words should have a connection to the origin of the Aramaic language, start from a base, where by using combination of Aramaic words create a new one.

The Aramaic language is the world's oldest alphabetic language,  Aramaic was lingua franca, international language used in commerce and diplomacy, throughout the Middle East and the ancient known civilizations in the East. It is known that Aramaic language was Jesus' mother tongue, as Aramaic was the spoken language in pretty much of the entire Middle East.
